The Island is easily accessible with car ferry sailings from Portsmouth to Fishbourne, Southampton to Cowes and Lymington to Yarmouth. High speed passenger sailings run regularly from Portsmouth to Ryde, Southampton to Cowes and Southsea to Ryde.
